(Eleuthera, Bahamas) The Royal Bahamas Police Force, Eleuthera Division under the leadership of Supt. Ismella Davis plunged into the back-to-school spirit on Saturday, September 1st, with a “Jamboree” in Rock Sound, partly sponsored by Scotiabank. One side of the square where the Police Station and Administration complex sits in the town, came alive with eager South Eleuthera youngsters enjoying free bouncy castles, grilled hotdogs, burgers and soft drinks, ice-cream and treats, plus face painting. The young men also queued for free haircuts – readying to put their best faces forward on the first day of school. To the delight of the young audience the popular and impressive Police K-9 unit made a special appearance.
