February to December – Bush Tea Tours – This activity, at the Leon Levy Native Plant Preserve, located on the Banks Road, Governor’s Harbour, is great for people who enjoy learning about the various medicinal plants in The Bahamas. May 17th – Kingdom Leading Ladies Awards – The RiZpah Prophetic Intercessory Global Ministry is excited to announce its inaugural event, the “Pastor’s Wives Appreciation Charity Ball” and “Kingdom Leading Ladies Awards,” to be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the Workers House Ballroom in Governor’s Harbour. The evening will begin with a Red Carpet Mix & Mingle at 6:00 p.m., followed by the ceremony at 8:00 p.m. Under the theme “Chosen! Set Apart” (Esther 4:14), this gala aims to honor the invaluable contributions of pastors’ wives from various churches throughout Eleuthera. The event will recognize Kingdom women who are making significant impacts in their communities, both locally and internationally, in the following categories: Pastors’ wives who have served for 30 or more years alongside their spouses in ministry, Female Pastors & Co-Pastors, Intercessory (Generals), Marketplace Ministries (Business Women), and Community Social Service. The distinguished honorees will receive the prestigious “Kingdom Leading Ladies Award.” This charity event will also support local charities, community organizations, churches, and ministries, with partial proceeds going toward these vital causes. May 24th and 25th – 18th Annual Tim’s Refrigeration Doubles Tennis Tournament – This exciting two-day tournament is set to take place at Knowles Tennis Courts in Palmetto Point, Central Eleuthera. Tournament Director, Coach Hartie Johnson, will oversee Ladies Doubles, Men’s Doubles, as well as Mixed Doubles match-ups.
