The Bahamas Ministry of Education and Technical and Vocational Training on Thursday, May 14th, 2026 issued a statement about a change in the dates for the Bahamas GLAT examinations for both grade 3 and grade 6.
The statement read, “The Ministry of Education and Technical and Vocational Training advises that due to a breach of the Grade Level Assessment Test (GLAT) examination papers, the Grade 3 examination scheduled for, May 15th, 2026, and the examinations scheduled for May 18th, 2026, are hereby declared null and void.
“New examination papers will be distributed to all primary schools on a date to be determined to ensure fairness and integrity in the assessment process.
“The Ministry thanks administrators, teachers, parents and students for their understanding and cooperation as it takes the necessary steps to uphold the standards and integrity of national examinations.”
New examination dates have yet to be announced.
