In the Photo: Rough Seas battered the Bay Front of Governor’s Harbour, Eleuthera on Monday, January 26th and continued into Tuesday. The high winds, cooler temperatures and rough seas accompanied a cold front passing through the islands.

With the cooler temperatures and winds from the North West on Monday the typically calm seas of the Bight of Eleuthera on the western side of the Glass Window bridge  had the billowing waves while the Atlantic (Inset Photo) was silky smooth. The photo also shows that the safety concrete barriers along an eroded edge of the road are back in place after being tumbled by Atlantic Waves.

On Tuesday morning January 27th, 2015 the grounds of Governor’s Harbour primary came alive with the sounds of laughing & cheering children as well as the sounds of Junkanoo as the school celebrated their weekend victory in the Primary School division of the All Eleuthera Jr. Junkanoo 2015.
