As of 11:30pm, on Tuesday, April 15th, 2014, Eleuthera police were still on the scene of a tragic accident which occured shortly before 8pm on Queen’s Highway just south of Palmetto Point, in Central Eleuthera, that resulted in a man being killed. A pedestrian, a young man, identified as Bobby Thompson of Palmetto Point was reportedly hit by the gray Nissan Bluebird car shown above, which according to police, was being driven by a tourist to the island.
