(Harbour Island, Bahamas) – In support of the Briland Tornadoes little league baseball team, their will be another DRIVE-IN movie at sundown, fundraiser on Wednesday, April 16th, 2014. The movie to be shown will be “42: The Jackie Robinson Story” (Rated PG-13). It will be shown at the baseball park (across from Angela’s Starfish) at sundown.
Breing a drive-in, people are welcomed to bring carts or larger vehicles however, cars willnot be permitted. Hotdogs and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for sale at the park.
Tickets are $10 per person and will be available for sale at the door. They are also available for purchase at Captain Bob’s, the Princess Gallery, Cocoa Coffee Shop, Sweet Spot and Blue Rooster.
Funds raised at the last fundraiser movie (Jaws on the Beach) along with private and corporate donations allowed the team to purchase the much needed uniforms. Now they are able to participate in the last three games away of the season in Spanish Wells.
The purpose of this fundraiser is to cover these travel costs.
