(Harbour Island, Bahamas) *Weekend Population Unknown*

They came once again by the many hundreds to Harbour Island, in full swing for the celebrations that surround the North Eleuthera Regatta where, each year, the day races take place without much fan fare but when the sun goes down the streets light up with color, flair and music.

This year, in addition to the colorful characters (right), Friday night’s entertainment was headlined by the one and only, Veronica Bishop (left.)

Prime Minister Christie and a contingent of Members of Parliament, were spotted on both nights taking in the rich, vibrant atmosphere.

Bahamas Ferries brought the majority of visitors over from New Providence. Additionally visitors from around the world and throughout the Bahamas, found a way to fit on the tiny North Eleuthera island where accommodations were stretched and golf carts fully booked out.

Early in the day (October 11th), rain fell in torrents all across Eleuthera, however by late in the afternoon it had cleared in North Eleuthera and subsequently fully cooperated for the weekend.
