The Cabinet Office wishes to advise the general public that His Excellency has today signed legislation designating Monday, 14th October 2013 as a public holiday known as “National Heroes Day”. Hereafter, the second Monday in October will be observed as National Heroes Day, phasing out the Discovery Day holiday.
Further, His Excellency has also assented to the Majority Rule Act, 2013 thereby proclaiming January 10th a public holiday recognised as “Majority Rule Day”.
