The devastating fire that took place on the 25th of March 2013 at the North Eleuthera High School (N.E.H.S) took with it the school’s sports equipment along with the library and geography classroom.
Fortunately for softball student athletes at the school, on the 19th of September, 2013, Mr. Burket Dorsett, the President of the Bahamas Softball Federation (B.S.F) and his executive team donated softball equipment to the N.E.H.S.
The donation consisted of:
• Rubber Bases,
• A Complete Easton Catchers Set
• Wilson Batting Helmets
• 4 bats
• 12 softballs
• Both Left & Right Hand Mizuno Mitts.
“So a very special thank you goes out to Mr. Burket Dorsett and his entire executive team for their generous donation to the school in light of our loss. It was very much needed and greatly appreciated. We ensure you that it will be utilized with care and skill.”
