(Eleuthera, Bahamas) – Mrs. Sybiline Taylor, a teacher with Preston H. Albury High School, will retire after 45 years of teaching. She was born in Wemyss Bight, South Eleuthera, is married to Ronald John Taylor and together they have five children.

Mrs. Taylor began her teaching career after she finished the Bahamas Teachers College in 1970 after which, she taught at Wemyss Bight All Age, Rock Sound All Age and presently, Preston H. Albury High School (PHAHS).

Mrs. Taylor is an active teacher as she has sat on every committee the school has to offer.  This is also exemplified in the community in which she lives as she is a member of the Kiwanis club, and an active parishioner of St. Lukes Anglican Church – Rock Sound.

PHAHS will host a banquet in her honour on Saturday, May 11th at 6:30pm at the Ingraham’s Beach Inn (Tarpum Bay).  Tickets are $50.00 and are available at the school.
