On Friday 30th November 2012, The North Eleuthera Youth Band traveled to New Providence where they took part in The Battle of the Bands competition. During this time the band captured 2nd place just behind the Urban Renewal Band of New Providence. They stayed at Paradise Island Harbour Resort and are said to have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. They returned to North Eleuthera Sunday 2nd December, 2012.
