(Eleuthera, Bahamas) In keeping with the policing plan of the Commissioner of Police 2012, which highlights Tackling Crime and Enforcing the Rules of the Road, officers of the Eleuthera District particularly South and Central Eleuthera Divisions conducted two (2) separate operations over the week end.
The operations were held between the hours of 5:00 pm on Friday 20th September, 2012 and Saturday 21st September, 2012 which resulted in one (1) female and three (3) males being arrested, fourteen (14) drivers being cited for various traffic offences and a drug seizure where a small amount of marijuana was taken off the streets.
Police say, the officers within the Eleuthera District will continue to be vigilant as they enforce the laws of the Bahamas
