Nassau, Bahamas. Real Men Ministry International Bahamas will host their First Annual National Men’s Empowerment Awards on Sunday October 7th 2012 at 10am at Bahamas Faith Ministries Diplomat Center, Carmichael Road. This highly anticipated event will be hosted under the theme “Real Men in Action: Present & Accounted For” and is designed to create a national platform that recognizes men, organizations and associations that privately or publicly attend specifically to the affairs of men in the Bahamas.
Twenty (20) men, organizations or associations will be honored for their invaluable contribution towards the growth, development and advancement of men in the Bahamas. However in order to qualify, individual men, organizations or associations will have to first be nominated and their names submitted for consideration. Nominations are now open and the criteria for those being considered include that they be actively involved in helping men be restored as productive citizens in the community and also actively involved in helping men who are in crisis. They must also be involved in supporting men unable to help themselves and go above and beyond their normal activity to reach out and assist men in the area of education, health and general well being. Nominees must also exhibit fundamental Christian or Kingdom principles as well as possess a good character and a good reputation.
Nomination applications are now available and interested persons can secure them from Bahamas Faith Ministries Diplomat Center on Carmichael Road or via email from realmenint@gmail.com. The deadline to submit nominations is Friday September 28th, 2012 and nomination applications must be turned into the Diplomat Center by 6pm on that date.
The National Men’s Empowerment Awards will culminate the 2012 National Men’s Empowerment Event which is scheduled to be held from Thursday October 4th-Sunday October 7th.
