IT’S OFFICIAL: The BAAA launched its plans for the hosting of the 41st Edition of the Carifta Games, Carifta Bahamas 2013 to be held in Nassau next year over the Easter holiday weekend March 28th – April 2nd.
The games will attract over five hundred of the top junior athletes and more than one hundred and fifty coaches and officials from the Caribbean region, representing about 28 countries to our shores.
The competition will be held in the new Thomas A. Robinson national stadium marking the first major international track and field event to be held in the complex, built by the Chinese government and presented to the people of the Bahamas as a gift.

The Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee is Basil Christie supported by a team of committee leaders with specific skills to manage the overall organization and execution of the games . More details will be released in the coming weeks and months leading up to the games.
