Police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 19-year old LAMAR RASHAD BAIN of MAJOR ROAD, YELLOW ELDER GARDENS Bain is being described as having a dark brown complexion, medium built and about 5’ 6” tall. Police want to question Bain in connection of a shooting incident, which occurred at Melvern Road, Yellow Elder Gardens on Monday 27th August 2012. SELECTIVE ENFORCEMENT TEAM (SET) OFFICERS MAKE FIREARM ARREST
A 30-year old male and 22-year old woman is in police custody after they were arrested for possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition on Tuesday 28th
August 2012. According to police reports, around 10:45pm officers from the Selective Enforcement Team executed a search warrant at a residence located at number 15 Sheila Frazier Way, Mount Tabor Estates and uncovered a handgun along with a quantity of ammunition. The 30-year old male and 22-year old woman were subsequently arrested and are assisting police with their investigations into this matter.

POLICE IDENTIFY MURDER VICTIM
Police have identified the male who was found unresponsive at Rose Close off Iguana Way, on Tuesday 28th August 2012, as 63-year old ERNEST HEPBURN of GOLDEN
GATES # 2. Initial police reports indicate, that around 12:45pm, the deceased was sitting in front of a neighbour’s residence located at Rose Close off Iguana Way, when he was approached by two (2) male suspects, who robbed him of his jewelry and shot him multiple times. The suspects then fled the scene on foot. The deceased was pronounced dead on the scene. Active police investigations continue.

MAN IN CUSTODY FOR RECENT MURDER
A 22 male is in custody assisting police with investigations into the country’s latest murder that occurred on Wednesday 29th August 2012. Initial police reports indicate, that around 9:30am, the deceased was involved in an altercation with another man at a residence located off Sumner Street (Redland Acres), resulting in the deceased being shot multiple times. The male suspect then fled the scene on foot.

The deceased was pronounced dead on the scene. Moments later, police acting on information, arrested the 22-year old male for questioning in connection with this matter.
