On Monday 27th August 2012 at 2:00am, the police in Marsh Harbour, Abaco received a complaint that a male was held at gun point and robbed of an undetermined amount of cash while at a local business establishment in Marsh Harbour Abaco. The culprits fled on foot when the building alarm was activated. Police are asking the public’s assistance in this matter, anyone having information are ask to call the police at telephone numbers 367-2536,367- 3437,911 or 919 or at the Central Detective Unit in Grand Bahama at 350- 3107,350-3108,911 or 919.
STRUCTURAL FIRE IN ABACO
Police in Marsh Harbour Abaco, received information that on Monday 27th August 2012, sometime around 8:00am that a building situated in Sand Bank Treasure Cay was on fire. Treasure Cay Fire and Rescue responded and met a six room structure engulf with fire, the building was completely destroyed. Estimate of damage is unknown, the building is uninsured. Investigation in this matter is continuing by police.
