Police in South Eleuthera are now investigating a traffic accident which has left an adult man dead on Friday, August 24th, 2018.
According to reports, shortly after 6:00am, a man was walking on Queen’s Highway south of the settlement of Rock Sound, when he was struck by a green 1998 S70 Volvo driven by another adult man. The victim was examined on the scene by a local doctor and pronounced dead. The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene and is assisting police with the investigation.
Officers from the Traffic Department of the Royal Bahamas Police Force are set to travel to Eleuthera to assist with the investigation.
