“The Space Between Words”: A Contemporary Sculpture Exhibition Showcases Innovative Works from Emerging and Established Artists

(Governors Harbour, Eleuthera) The Potlatch Club is hosting an exclusive sculpture exhibition featuring over 40 original works by celebrated and emerging sculptors from Eleuthera and beyond. The exhibition will be one day only – Feb 28th, 2026 from 2-6 pm.

“The Space Between Words” explores the elusive and ephemeral, via the physical world of contemporary sculpture. These pieces will give expression to the unspoken – emotions, fears, and hesitance, that lie between and below our surface conversations.

This show will feature multimedia works, as well as ceramics, glass and resin, offering the collector the opportunity to purchase one-of-a-kind, newly created pieces.

Participating artists include Edrin Symonette, Imogene Walkine, Dwaine Modder, and Loretta Bonet. Mr. Symonette, and Ms. Walkine have works shown internationally, and both have work at the National Gallery of the Bahamas. Both were commissioned by the Disney Corporation to create works for the Lighthouse Point location. Dwaine Modder’s last exhibition, Electric Eleuthera, completely sold out. Loretta Bonet’s first exhibition, titled, “What’s your Story?” invited the audience to ponder how each sculpture related to their own experience. Her current work will continue to explore this theme.

Enjoy this unique cultural event against the lush backdrop of the beautiful Potlach Club.
