Have you seen a change in breast cancer awareness? Do you know someone who received free genetic counselling on Eleuthera with Bahamas Breast Cancer Initiative Foundation? Do you know children who have participated in the Police summer camp or attended programs at Eleuthera Arts & Cultural Center? Does your child attend a school in South Eleuthera that now has improved internet, computer access and afterschool assistance? Do you know a primary school teacher who recently benefited from literacy and numeracy training and resources? The One Eleuthera Foundation (OEF) is pleased to have facilitated these events.

OEF is a non-profit working to strengthen organizations and partners throughout Eleuthera by connecting them to the resources they need to create positive and effective changes in education, health, environment, economy and culture.

Our Record

Since its inception on Earth Day 2012, OEF has accomplished a great deal by building relationships and creating partnerships with individuals, organizations and groups. By working through networks, OEF has been able to:

Establish the Eleuthera Heritage Trail.

Create jobs and entrepreneurial opportunities.

Build the capacity of numerous organizations in the areas of communication, grant writing, board development and strategic planning.

Provide technical and organizational support to local non-profits.

Develop a plan for improving health and wellness on Eleuthera through The Pathway to Wellness.

Implement programs to enhance educational opportunities and outcomes for adults and children.

Launch or supported programs like SEEP Emergency Operation Centers, Recycling, Eleuthera Community Farms, Road Safety and Breast Cancer Community Outreach.

And we’re not done yet!
