(Harbour Island, Eleuthera, Bahamas) Gas leaking from a grill is believed responsible for a fire in Harbour Island that has caused extensive damage to a two storey stone structure on the island. It all happened at about 9:50pm on Wednesday evening January 7th, 2015. Volunteer fire fighters responded to the scene and succeeded in extinguishing the blaze, in the building on Colebroke Street, belonging to Mr. Marcus Pinder. The owner reported to police that it was caused by a gas grill which had a leak and had exploded. He sustained minor burns to the arm.
