(Eleuthera, Bahamas) – Two Eleuthera men, according to family members, have been missing since going out on a fishing trip during the second week in August.
Family have reported to police that 29 year old Kennard Edgar McSweeney of Gregory Town went on the fishing trip with his friend Nathaniel Higgs of Upper Bogue Eleuthera and have not been heard from since family spoke with Kennard by phone on Thursday 14th August, 2014.
According to authorities, because no one is aware of where the men went once out to sea, there is no specific area to search however other vessels at sea are being asked to keep an eye out for the missing men.
Police say the matter is under active investigation.
