(Eleuthera, Bahamas) – According to reports, at about 6pm on Monday, August 18th, 2014, police responded to the scene of a traffic accident on Church Street in the area of Sweet Dreams Restaurant in Palmetto Point, Eleuthera, involving a young girl who was struck off her bicycle.
On arrival at the scene officers met a maroon Ford truck F150 registered to and driven by Joshua Deal who had collided with a dark blue Cruiser bicycle ridden by the 16 year old female. The teen received injuries to her head, body and a broken right arm. She was taken to Governor’s Harbour Clinic and subsequently transported to Nassau for further medical attention.
