IN ROCK SOUND- the Eleuthera Junior Baseball League of Rock Sound continued play with week # 14 ( May 10th, 2014) games in Rock Sound.
In game #1- Coach Pitch Division – in the first game of a double-header, the Spanish Wells Hook N’ Jook continued with their winning ways by defeating the Rock Sound Coco Plums. Then in the second game, the Rock Sound Coco Plums finally won a game over the Hook n’ Jook. The Hook n’ Jook won the Pennant in the Coach Pitch Division.
In game #3 – Minor Division – Rock Sound Marlins and the Spanish Wells Sluggers played the rubber match game of the season as both teams were tied at 6 and 1. The Marlins defeated the Sluggers to win the Pennant in a very competitive Minor Division.
In game # 4- Junior Division – the Rock Sound Stingrays ran their record to 6 and 1 by blasting the Tarpum Bay Teen Agers. With this win the Rock Sound Stingrays won the Pennant in the Junior Division.
NOTE: TO ALL TEAMS – ALL REMAINING REGULAR SEASON SCHEDULED GAMES FOR THE NEXT TWO WEEKS HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO SOME TEAMS NOT BEING ABLE TO CONTINUE PLAY. THEREFORE, THE CHAMPIONSHIP PLAYOFFS WILL BEGIN ON MAY 31ST IN SPANISH WELLS. PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHED PLAYOFF SCHEDULE.
