Many residents in Central and South Eleuthera were out of power for most of the working day thanks to a planned outage south of the Airport to the Banks road coupled to an unplanned outage further south stemming, it is believed, from an unspecified problem at the plant in Rock Sound.
‘The Outage in Governor’s for the second consecutive day was scheduled to be from 9am to 2pm. While workers wasted little time in taking off the electricity at 9am, it stayed off for a 2 hours beyond 2pm – rendering the work day, in the absence of a Generator unproductive for many.
