(Eleuthera, Bahamas) Eleuthera native, and renown international track and field star athlete, Chris “Fireman” Brown will be making a very special visit to the island from April 9th to April 11th, accompanied by international journalists and filmmakers to capture footage of Chris on his home island of Eleuthera, in the run up to the much anticipated inaugural IAAF World Relays Event, being held on May 24th and 25th at the Thomas A. Robinson national stadium in New Providence.
Chris is expected to arrive at the Rock Sound International airport on Wednesday, April 9th at 4:20 pm with much fanfare, followed by a Junkanoo rush-out and a motorcade to the Wemyss’ Bight Park. A cocktail reception will also be held later during the evening on Wednesday (tentative time 7pm – location to be announced).
On Thursday, April 10th and Friday, April 11th, Chris will visit a number of schools throughout Eleuthera. He begins on Thursday morning at 9am at the Wemyss’ Bight Primary School ending in Harbour Island on Friday – with a Cultural Expo in his hometown of Wemyss’ Bight planned for Thursday evening.

1:45 pm Visit the Emma E. Cooper Primary School
2:00 pm Visit the Central Eleuthera High School
3:00 pm Visit the Governor’s Harbour Primary School / Tour of Governor’s Harbour
6:30 pm Meet the people of Wemyss’ Bight and South Eleuthera during a CRAFT AND CULTURAL EXPO at the Wemyss’ Bight Park – with Live Music & DJ
