The 2014 Eleuthera Junior Junkanoo competition was successfully held in Governor’s Harbour along the new route along Queen’s Highway stretching from RBC to BTC.
A large crowd turned out to watch the six schools in the Primary A division, one in the Primary B division, one in the Junior High division and two in the High School division.
Scheduled to start at 4pm, action did not get under way until after 5:30pm due to the late arrival of judges who had come over from New Providence to adjudicate the competition.
At the end of it all the results were (Please note the preliminary results were changed slightly at 5:20pm January 27th, 2014. The results below are official)
- PRIMARY A Division
1st – Tarpum Bay 972 points; 2nd – Governors Harbour 960points ; 3rd -Rock Sound 930 points; 4th – North Eleuthera 889 points; 5th – Wemyss Bight 691 points; 6th – Emma Cooper 587 points
Top Banner – Tarpum Bay ; Best Music – Tarpum Bay; Best Costume – Rock Sound; Best Dance – North Eleuthera

1st – James Cistern 688 points
- JUNIOR HIGH Division
1st – Deep Creek Middle 948 points
- HIGH SCHOOL Division
1st – Central Eleuthera High 1004 points (CEHS)
2nd – North Eleuthera High 561 points (NEHS)
