Hon. Fred Mitchell, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, advised in a press release that HE Alma Adams, Ambassador to the Republic of Cuba, was a passenger on a Cubana aircraft involved in an incident upon landing in Havana, Cuba on Wednesday afternoon, June 5th, 2013, amid inclement weather.
The Minister added, “The aircraft suffered a blown tire upon landing and veered off the runway before coming to complete stop. All passengers are reported safe and there were no injuries.”
