The Royal Bank of Canada, Governor’s Harbour branch, greeted its many customers on Thursday morning March 28th, 2013, with specially baked breakfast treats along with coffee and tea, as the bank celebrated its 18th year in the town, having opened its doors in 1995 . It is the only branch for the bank on the main island, with two other branches located on the North Eleuthera islands of Spanish Wells and Harbour Island.
On the final banking day before the Easter holiday weekend, clients waiting in the lengthy line were also treated to impromptu giveaways and gifts, by branch Manager, Mr. Walter Carey and invited to fill in an entry form for the opportunity to win a basket of goodies.
