(Harbour Island, Eleuthera, Bahamas) Perched on the second floor of an historic, beautifully restored building at the Valentines Resort in Harbour Island, is “COCOA” Coffeehouse. Its location immediately south of the pool at Valentines suits the welcome and warmth of the coffee shop which offers a picturesque view of the Valentines Marina, in an organic artistic environment meant to encourage private meetings, creativity, social interactions or casual laptop time.
Cocoa serves prepared and retail coffee and tea drinks as well as other hot and iced beverages. As a Starbucks “We Proudly Serve” licensee the establishment also offers an array of Starbucks drinks using their ingredients and recipes. Additionally many of the beverages at COCOA are made using freshly ground Lavazza coffeebeans – Italy’s favorite coffee.
The cozy interior decor of COCOA comes with the convenience of power outlets within reach of all seating and FREE wifi.
Proprietors Gem and Ryan Austin opened the establishment just before Christmas and say the response has been tremendous.
They cater to the international traveller, domestic traveller and locals of Briland, Spanish Wells and Eleuthera alike. “We would like all our tourists and second home owners to know that their favorite coffee is within reach”, they said with their trademark smiles, adding, “Likewise we want to introduce Bahamians to their new favorite cup of joe here in lovely Harbour Island”
