On Sunday 25th November 2012, around 12:30am, police while on patrol discovered a (2) door green Honda Accord overturned on Forrest Drive, Abaco, with three passengers on the outside of the vehicle and one male passenger who was found trapped under the vehicle.
The apparent accident scene was visited by Police and EMS personnel. The passenger found under the vehicle was also the driver of the vehicle, and was pronounced dead by doctor at the Marsh Harbour Clinic. The three other passengers who were two males and one female were all rendered medical assistance and transported to the Marsh Harbour Clinic for further medical treatment and discharged.
Police are actively investigating this matter.
As this is the second such traffic fatality reported in Abaco within a week, Police are strongly urging the general public, to drive with due caution and care, and to drive to stay alive.
