(Spanish Wells, Eleuthera) The Road Traffic Department is requiring all non-Bahamians doing business with the Department to produce a current Real Property Tax Bill/Tax Certificate which reflects payment of all outstanding taxes. For example, non-Bahamian citizens seeking to renew their vehicle license should present a Tax certificate showing where their taxes are paid in full up to the end of 2017. This is in an effort to ensure Tax Compliance with the Government.
