Customers in Central Eleuthera, from Windermere Island to Gregory Town have reportedly been without water since Wednesday, November 8th, 2017.
The Eleutheran has learned that the General Electric plant at the former Naval Base in Governor’s Harbour developed mechanical issues on Wednesday, which as of Friday morning, November 10th, 2017 were said to have been resolved.
Customers in the affected settlements could expect their supplies of water to return some time during the late afternoon/early evening on Friday, said the Corporation.
