(Nassau, Bahamas) – Police are investigating two (2) separate shootings which have resulted in the death of two (2) males.

In the first incident a man was found dead inside a blue Honda Accord off Charles W. Saunders Highway on Tuesday 4th June, 2013. According to reports the deceased was discovered around 9:40 am with multiple gunshot injuries to the body.

In the second incident a 31 year old male of Lazaretto Road is dead after being shot multiple times. According to reports around 4:30pm on Tuesday 4th June, 2013 the deceased was in the Haitian Village off Lazaretto Road when he was approached by a white Honda CRV occupied by three (3) men. It is reported that two (2) of the males exited the jeep and fired gunshots at the deceased which resulted in him being shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are investigating and are appealing to members of the public who may have any information regarding any of these incidents to contact police at 911, 919, 322-3333/4, the CENTRAL DETECTIVE UNIT @ 502-9990/1 or CRIME STOPPERS @ 328-TIPS.

Additionally, police are encouraging members of the public who may have information of persons in possession of illegal weapons to contact police anonymously.
