(Eleuthera, The Bahamas)  The General Public, particularly persons from Abaco and Grand Bahama, are hereby advised of the following:

Guidance counselors will be at Samuel Guy Pinder All-Age School 17-19 September from 9am-5pm. ANY persons wishing to speak with the counselors can do so by visiting the School.

Persons that have applied for the NIB Unemployment Benefit must register with the Department of Labour. A representative will be at this office [Administrator’s Office, Spanish Wells] on Thursday 19 September with registration beginning at 1pm. Applicants MUST be registered with the Department of Labour to claim the benefit. Persons can click on the following link to jump-start the process: (Click Here).

There will be a community meeting held at the People’s Church Fellowship Hall with a Psych Team in partnership with the Department of Public Health on Thursday 19 September at 6pm. Persons wishing to speak with either a Psychiatrist or Psychologist will be able to do so after general discussion.
