(Cat Island, The Bahamas) The Royal Bahamas Police are reporting that the lifeless body of an elderly woman believed to be the American woman reported missing in Cat Island, was found on Sunday, October 1st, 2017, in bushes in North Cat Island. Police also say that they have commenced a murder investigation into this matter and that three suspects are in custody assisting in this investigation.
Earlier, Police had reported that they had activated a missing person alert for 74-year-old Janice Mildred KESSINGER, a United States Citizen who resides in North Cat Island. Kessinger was last seen about 3:30pm on Friday, 29th September 2017, at Shanna’s Cove Resort in North Cat Island, where she was staying locally.
